Our journal weeding guidelines call for retaining print if the content if more than 20% images. Some of our faculty give assignments that call for comparing several images and that's easier to do by laying print volumes side by side than by switching windows for e-journals. - Ginger

We have been routinely weeding anything that is in JSTOR Archives packages for several years now, regardless of subject or the presence of pictures or music.  We have not had any complaints from faculty from any department.
