My message on WORDPERFECT was not about using a word processing program for seri
   als control.  WORDPERFECT CORPORATION has several products including one of t
   he easiest realtional database programs around.  I use DATAPERFECT for serial
   s
control.  It allows me to generate reports at least as good if not better than
Dbase III without resorting to a command language that is neither intuitive nor
easy to use.  I use WordPerfect 5.1 to format my reports generated by DataPerfec
   t or to create reports with secondary merge files from DataPerfect.

I also use WordPerfect Office to allow production of reports, lists and other it
   ems from a menu once I have the bugs worked out of my shell macros. Please ke
