I also include the day date if it appears on the piece.  I do not think this
is confusing to the patron since the frequency of the publication will also
appear in the cataloged record.  I do not think the day date necessarily
implies that multiple issues exist for the month; it can also represent the
publishing or issuing date of the piece.
