Subject: Possible confusion

On March 24 I sent two messages to the list on the subject of uniform
titles. I intended them to be a constructive proposal of LCRI revision.
These two messages were joined into one by the editors, who, inadver-
tently, I am sure, put the last message first, and the result could be
confusing, since my opening statement makes specific reference to "previous"
text that, in fact, the reader would not have seen.  If the discussion
interests you, please be sure to scroll down to the second message first
and then go back to the first message.

The messages were issued separately because, to be honest, I only realized
after sending the first message that more clarification might be needed.
I guess I "made a quick decision in any case and used 'feeling'!

may have caused.  There were some network delays at UVMVM yesterday, with
the result that Enrique's second message (sent one hour later) was received
*before* the first message.  This detail was overlooked when the two messages
were combined into one.
