We are preparing an invitation to serials vendors to bid to be our primary
domestic serials agent.  I am interested in including a requirement that the
bidders include a copy of an independent assessment of the bidders financial
soundness.  I would be interested in hearing from others that have done this,
specifically what documentation did you ask for and what did you find to be
the advantages/disadvantages of including this requirement.  I will gladly
summarize for the list all responses I receive by June 15.
