I have to agree with Scott Wicks about the Gordon and Breach
letter.  They obviously do not realize (or care?) how much of an
impact their decision will have on libraries.  From my perspective,
Faxon has acted honestly and sensibly in this instance.  This is
giving us a perfect opportunity to review all of the G&B and
Harwood titles that we still get.  I have urged our Collection
Management dept. to consider cancelling any of the titles that the
teaching faculty do not insist on keeping.  I suspect that this
recent action is a power play that this particular publisher will
live to regret.
