Reply to Victoria Gutschenritter not the serialst, please.

Our library has the Illustrated London News from 1940 to the present. Is
this magazine indexed? I can't find it listed in Readers' Guide. Why would
this magazine be important to retain for so many years? Does anyone know
the history of this magazine? I'd appreciate any help in evaluating its
usefulness. Thanks.
