Subject: Vendor for Publications from Russia

Another source for Russian serials is Victor Kamkin Inc. in Rockville, Maryland.
They supply an annual "Catalog of Russian Periodicals" each year to their
customers.  However, all their prices are for annual AIRMAIL subscriptions.
In the last couple of years, they have made an arrangement with
"Mezhdunarodnaia Kniga", to have all RUSSIAN subscriptions air freighted
via Aeroflot to Victor Kamkin in Maryland, who in turn then reships the
issues to their U.S. customers. I highlight "Russian", because this appears
to be happening only with Russian journals. (Journals from the other former
U.S.S.R. republics seem to be coming airmail directly from the publishers
of those journals).  I haven't had much time to evaluate their service.
With the Russian journals, we seem to be receiving all issues in a very
timely manner.  Here is their address:
