We still have the old-fashioned manual visible display system which
is not due for computerization for a couple of years. Meanwhile we
have problems keeping on top of claims; we tend to be reactive (i.e.
wait till a reader misses an issue before claiming) instead of pro-
active (claiming before the issue is missed)

We have some 8,500 titles so I appreciate any manual claims system is
going to be time consuming. However I was wondering if anyone had
experience of claims in such a large system?
