Subject: serials/monographs budget ratio

We would appreciate any help with the following questions:

1.  What percentage of the acquisition's budget is spent on serials in
other small (3,000) academic libraries?

2.  Do other academic institutions accept requests for new journals
anytime during the year or only at scheduled intervals?

3.  Do other academic libraries limit journal ordering per bibliographer
by number or by dollar amount?
