I think the problem is compounded by the 3M strips.  The
best hand cream I've found is Eucerin -- and I prefer cotton
gloves.

        My goodness, it IS nice to live in Florida [I won't discuss
        July and August weather, however]. A friend from Green Bay, WI,
        recommends Lydex, a prescription, for the excessive skin dryness
        problem. Beats udder cream all to pieces.
