The Library of the University of Americas, Puebla start to use
First Search and it's very good, has more than 50 Databases
and it's very easy to access and find journal articles.

The only fact is that, in some hours of day the system respond slowly.
Another thing is, only reference people in our university have
access to First Search not all the people in the university because
you need have clearly the use of
first search, if not your university, will pay many access ($) without
success. Finally the cost of each journal article retrieval is about
$15.00 to $23.00 we usually fit with the article abstract and with the
full text online service (cost 5 first search access).

I am also interested in finding out about FirstSearch. I am especially
interested in the OCLC "First" databases (ArticleFirst, ContentFirst,
NetFirst, etc). How do these databases compare to "Current Contents"?
What is the user satisfaction at Sci/Tech Institutes?

I am trying to get as much information as possible, that might help with
our evaluation.

Thanks in advance.

By the way, this message, takes me out of the "lurking stage". I guess I am
