I want to follow up on a message the Maureen Landry sent to SERIALST this
past week about the status of CONSER documentation.  Here is the latest:

CONSER Cataloging Manual
  Update 4, Fall 1995 is the latest update and we have just received it
here in Serial Record.  This update contains the changes to LCRIs for
Chapter 12 that are also relfected in the latest update to the LCRIs.
You should be receiving this update shortly.

CONSER Editing Guide
  Update 2, Fall 1995 has been published and we shipped late last year.
You should have this update
  Update 3, Spring 1996 is due to be shipped this week.  I have not seen
the copy yet but am expecting it any day.  This is the update that
includes the final phase of format integration.

Updates to both the CCM and CEG are available from the Cataloging
Distribution Service on a subscription basis (2 per year).  This is
definitely the fastest and easiest way to obtain your documentation.  The
subscriptions for each are $36 (No. America) and $38 (outside No.
America).

We also hope to have this information up on a new CONSER home page soon.
