Methods in Molecular and Cellular Biology Mitch Turitz 20 Mar 1997 01:50 UTC

Problem:
2 issues of the title METHODS IN MOLECULAR AND CELLULAR BIOLOGY
(ISSN 0898-7750) have the same issue number (Volume 6, number 1, 1995/1996).

The contents of both issues are different, but the vol/issue numbers are
the same. There is nothing to distinguish the two different issues, other
than one has the running title as "METHODS IN MOLECULAR AND CELLULAR
BIOLOGY 6:1-7 (1996)" on the pages for the first article (Versatile method
for parallel synthesis), but the other has "METHODS IN MOLECULAR AND
CELLULAR BIOLOGY 6:1-2 (1995/1996)" above its first article, "Introduction
--Methods for the design and synthesis of combinatorial libraries"

Needless to say, this is causing confusion for check-in. Is one a
supplement to the other? If so, which is which? Any help would be
appreciated.
