I won't give a definition of a scholarly journal but I would like to
recommend an article about scientific publication and reviewing. The
complete title is "A neo-classical structure for scientific publication
and reviewing". The author is Professor Erik Sandewall, the initiator of
Linkoping University Electronic Press.
