Subject: Background Notes

     According to information from GPO, Background Notes are supposed to be
     sent out monthly with 5-8 country studies per month.  For 1997, we had
     not received anything so we had claimed the issues through our vendor.
     We received a shipment which included 6 country studies but the
     numbering system is such now that we aren't sure if the issues we
     received are all from January or what.  Nothing else has been
     received.  Our vendor doesn't seem to have any further information and
     doesn't seem to be able to get a list out of GPO as to which countries
     we should have received by now either.  Can anyone out there give me a
     clue as to what has been printed for 1997 (if you are still receiving
     it in print vs. web-access)?
