the Province. We encourage you to circulate this posting broadly.

CSISAC proudly presents the latest addition in  what has become a
steady stream of vital and stimulating roundtable presentations
and panel discussions.

We welcome all interested parties to:

An Ontario-Wide Consortium - How Close Is It

Metropolitan Toronto Reference Library
789 Yonge Street (1/2 block north of the Bloor/Yonge subway station)
Beeton Auditorium
Thursday March 26, 1998
9:30 am - Noon
(NB The library does not open until 10:00 am, please use the staff
entrance to the left of the main doors. Security personnel will let
you in)

Presenters and Panel Members:

Margaret Hawthorn (UofT) - An overview of North American consortia.
Alex Eykelhof (Bibliocentre) - Update on Community College initiatives.
Stan Squires (Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation) - Public
              Library initiatives - Net 2000 Project
Warren Holder - (UofT) - The Digital Library Project
Brian Bell (Ontario Library Association) - Progress to date on an
           Ontario wide Consortium.

Presentations will be relatively short to leave time for questions and
discussion.

Everyone is welcome and we have  the whole Beeton Auditorium. However, we
anticipate a large crowd for this session and will require advance
registration.
