Most of our binding takes place in the Summer. We begin shipping ASAP after the
Spring semester and send the last shipment just before the Fall begins. We ship
every 2 weeks with each shipment taking 4 weeks. We play strict attention to
the classes scheduled in summer to avoid conflicts, usually starting with Q's
and ending with the L's and reference. When funds are still available, we pull
again once at Xmas break. We formerly avoided binding in summer due to the
short time available for students to get ILL but scheduling around their classes
causes us few problems and them even fewer.

We have about 2000 subscriptions of all types (paid, gift, and govdoc added to
LC collection). With a few heavily stolen exceptions, Psychology Today and
Educational Leadership come to mind, all are in open stacks. By identifying
those most likely to be stolen, we have dramatically cut down on missing issues
but not entirely.
