Subject: kudos to publisher
My check-in clerk told me about this this morning, and I had to call and
check it out for myself.
The publisher in question has a "journal data updating service" whereby
one may punch-in a journal's ISSN number and in response receive a voice
message telling the most recent issue published of that title, when it
was published, and when the next issue is expected. My clerk was so
pleased because it saved her an unnecessary claim. My question is, Why
don't ALL publishers (at least the larger ones) do this?
Kudos to Gordon & Breach/Harwood Academic.
