Subject: What is a Periodical?

As the new Periodicals Librarian at BYU, I am currently involved with a =
task force that is trying to define what a periodical is.  We recently =
completed construction on a new Periodicals Room that houses all bound =
and unbound issues and we are struggling with our definition of the =
periodical.  I would appreciate any input from those of you who have =
worked on or are working from a clear and concise definition of what the =
periodical is.
