Given that the rocket "pod" listing for a single 120mm rocket is actually for a bare rocket slung on a rail; that it weighs 60kg; that the three-rocket pod of 120mm rockets weighs 200kg; that the single rocket costs 100 Cr; and that the three-rocket pod costs 350 Cr; the only reasonable conclusion is that the Rocket Pod table gives weights and costs for loaded pods. These weights of the 80mm rockets are about half those of real-world rockets: the 70mm Hydra weighs 6.2kg for the rocket and around 4kg for an HE warhead.

LAU-10 5" rocket launcher for 4x107lb Zuni rockets weighs 115 pounds empty, 545 full. Empty, that's far, far less than the 440 lbs listed for the 120mm launcher, but vaguely close if it's the loaded weight. Similarly, the 107lb 5" rocket is close to the 132lbs given for the single 120mm rocket.

Hello all,

The MT COACC Ordnance Tables are on pages 68-69. Page 69 lists 80mm and 120 mm rockets along with the pod launchers.

1. 80 mm and 120 mm rockets

I have looked through MT COACC and MT Consolidated Errata v2.21 (02/23/13) edited by Donald McKinney to find the weight and price of the rockets. I have not been able to determine the weight of a single 80 mm or 120 mm rocket carrying either a HE or Flechette warhead. My web search has returned some results but I still have not found my answer.

Can anyone please help me find a source for the weight of the rockets?

Can anyone please help me figure out what they would cost in Traveller?

2. Rocket Pods

The rocket pods table, MT COACC page 69, does list weight and cost.

Is the weight and cost for an unloaded or loaded rocket pod ?
