If you are concerned about copyright, I would contact Marc directly with your questions. I've been told, but have no further information on, that there was an understanding between Marc and Mr. Sanger regarding the DGP copyright materials.

Basically Roger Sanger owns the DGP materials and copyright, but due to business disputes, the Traveller license was withdrawn for that material, and as a result all of that DGP material is no longer official canon, plus it’s unpublishable as it stands.

Well that bites a big chunk out of the 'Rebellion' chronicle as a lot of that was published in DGP's mag.

No loss really, as the info is still around &, in reality, OTU 'canon' has become more of a 'state of mind' than anything else.

It's so chock full of contradictions that anyone can find support for just about anything.

I suppose it was inevitable considering how long 'Traveller' has been around & it always seemed to me that too many authors just weren't familiar enough with what had already been published.
In addition it seems that some also just threw out what they didn't like & replaced it with something more to their liking.
Human nature I suppose, if you're given the chance to put your stamp on something that's important to you, GRAB IT!
