Oooh, I have that book, thanks for the pointer.

I uses two large (200 lb) powercells to power everything
including the eight wheels, each with their own electric motor. It has a
solar power array as backup, which is noted as being able to power
everything except the motors. Presumably if you left everything turned
off the solar array could slowly recharge the powercells, and in a
developed area you'd just plug in for a recharge or yank the cells out
and swap them.

I did think about solar panels but decided they were an 'option'.

You may all be pleased (or perhaps not) to hear that as I had *absolutely nothing* better to do with a day off today (and a damp, dreich day so the beach didn't appeal), there's now a water systems schematic as well as power systems.  Thank you for your encouragement or I might not have bothered.  Of course, no idea what I'm going to do with them just yet...

Again, very happy to take very critical comments as I know as little about this side of things as I do power.

Assuming this works, you should be able to see a newer version of the power one as well.

(I'm thinking that at TL7 black water recycling isn't something you'd want so only the grey water goes to that... at higher TLs this would be different)

(Also, I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of the 'expansion tank' is.  I pinched it from an RV plan online but have been unable (fairly rapidly admittedly) to find anything online that gives a *clear* explanation of why you'd want one.  At first I thought it was a kind of overflow safety thing, now I think it might be to do with maintaining water pressure.  Certainly in the latter case and perhaps in the former, I'm inclined think scrap it - "Trav Tech" (TM) can handle not having it!
