Hi all,
1. CT LBB 5
1a. 1979 p. 35 has the single sided IN Form 3 Ship’s Data that introduced the Universal Ship Profile (USP)
1b. 1980 p. 37 has the same IN Form 3
1c. Supplement 12 1983 p. 22 has a revised single sided IN Form 3 that moved the USP from the side of the form to the top and added rows for batteries and batteries bearing.
4a. TAS Form 7 p. 31 per Supplement 13 p. 48 appeared in Book 3, the Traveller Book and on the mailing warp of JTAS 4. My CT LBB 3 1977/1981 3rd printing does not have the form.
5. CT LBB 6 1983 pp. 52-53 has a two sided IS Form 7 Star System Data. The form has blocks for System name/location, Subsector/Sector, Star name, Spectrum/Size, Magnitude. The World/Satellite Data section includes a block for orbital position, world/satellite name, blocks for world data, and remarks. CT Supplement 12 does not have any information on IS Form 7, but TAS Form 7 has some similarities.
6. CT LBB 7 1985 has TAS Form 14 Cargo Manifest which is also found on Supplement 12 p. 19.
7. CT Book 8 pp. 38-40 has the Universal Robot Profile (URP)

That's where I originally got the 'USP'='universal system profile' idea from.
Which now appears to be an original idea as no one else seems to have heard of it!

Maybe the Emperor is not interested in credits from the other valuable planets in a system?

Yah... Not likely.

Here's a thought: if I have a system that only has Asteroid belts and Planetoid belts, how can a UWP apply? Should it not be Universal Body Profile to cover belts?

The CT supp 'Trillion Credit Squadron' has a campaign option in which military budgetary yields are presented according to system mainworld characteristics.
Interestingly, there is no provision for 'hidden planets' so the stat seems to actually be a USP (universal SYSTEM profile) rather than a UPP.
(wasn't the acronym originally 'USP' in the original CT? ISTR that there were two 'USP's, one for ships & one for systems)

In any case, there're lots & lots of ways to tailor the 3I's economics to produce just about any model desired.
I have looked in CT 1977 LBB1, 2, and 3 and as far as I can tell there is not mention of universal system/ship/personal/planet profile. CT 1977 LBB 2 p. 23 has an example of a data card used for combat.

Hmmmm.

Then I guess I don't recall what the string of numbers was called but it must have been called something?

In any case it's odd that 'Trillion Credit Sqd' only used the mainworld stats.
This might've been where I first got the idea that the stats applied to the whole system & not just the 'mainworld' (whatever the definition of that term really is).
