A fishing tackle box marked "Fasteners" - contains a large assortment
of nails, screws, bolts, nuts, washers.  There are a fair number of
"don't match" items in it - bolts with no nut, nuts with no matching
bolt, etc.

I have three multi-compartment contractor style carriers for fasteners, screws, toggles, and the like. And yeah, there's some mix and match and 'I need 4 #10 screws 2" long... and I have 3... and another that's 3" long.... wonder which one I can replace with an overlength without a fire or leak?'.
