There is no "pre-empting";

Fair point.

But it'll be a while before I finish something longer and it seemed worth saying something while it was still fresh.

Have done 1000 words.  Took 40 minutes.  Haven't actually got to the con yet...  oh dear.

I'll take multiple AARs from multiple people.

Yes, I'd like to read other takes.  Of TravCon too.

I
would especially like an AAR from a referee's PoV; AARs somehow don't tend
to come from that "side" of the table.

Well, technically I *was* a referee for VT.  I just didn't get to run anything.  :-)

As far as posting here "pre-empting" a writeup you might choose to send to
me, ... it is not necessarily the case that everyone that reads the TML
reads FT, nor is it necessarily the case that everyone that reads FT reads
the TML. I'm sure there's quite a lot of overlap, but I'm equally sure it's
not 100%. Therefore, there is no reason not to comment here, even if you
intend to write on the same subject for FT.

That's also a fair point.  Hard to imagine.  But fair.

(And then there are those poor lost souls who are part of the Traveller
community but read neither FT nor the TML... :)  )

Even harder to imagine.
