Well, I'm back at work as of this morning although not strictly 100%. I'm not sick enough to watch all the email enquiries from students (and staff) pile up any more! Although having just coughed through a Student Voice Committee I'm going to call it a day now. Still something in my lungs/throat which is irritating (literally and figuratively) but yes, I'd say I was on the mend. Am also allowed outside after isolation for the first time in a couple of weeks as of today. Not that I can face it.
As for Tom's note... quite understood. I don't expect anyone else to be *that* interested in a textual comparison of two fractionally different novels. I was just hoping someone might have already done it to save me the job. Not like I don't have other things to do... writing up the last TTA session Jim being one of them!
thank you all though for your concern, I feel as if I've escaped lightly which - given I'm male, of a certain age,and have an underlying health condition - was not guaranteed.
