Some good skull-sweat went into that. However, I'd compress the tech levels a bit.I'd also add neural induction helmets between the haptic suits and full-on implants, and discuss the wider implementation. In Phase II, Sulu was going to have an implant to better control the ship at the impressive high warp speeds the ship was now capable of. They were also going to have virtual reality for recreation, which would have been similar to the holodeck, except all in their minds. All that remained of those ideas was Kirk's command senciever implant, shown only in the TMP novelization.
So, how widespread is the implementation of augmented and virtual reality tech for piloting starships (Hooded Swan, Brian Stableford)? Other uses? Communications could easily be done this way - instant translation, even for species using gestures and pheromones, police and military bodycams become implants with 2-way comms. Reporters have similar gear.

Training is also easier. Before ever driving a car, you virtually drove through the whole Driver's Ed course.

Physitars start with two people wearing haptic suits, with the second slaved to the first. A great surgeon doesn't travel anymore - a local doctor wears a suit, and slaves it to the surgeon's suit. Eventually, robot physitars replace this.

Krypton's clone wars are one possible consequence of the rights of AIs.

Just my first thoughts here.
