Morning PDT Michael
Thank you for letting me know that the Traveller Integrated Timeline is still in the pipe for release.

I am finding that I keep missing the good deals like the FFE Donald McKinney bundle. I also missed MGT CRB/HG 2e Beta which has left me with MgT 1e spacecraft design.

Again thank you for the information and shouldering your Dad's work in Traveller.

Respectfully

Tom R

Regarding the Integrated Timeline. With permission from Marc Miller, and because I have Dad's arsenal of literacy, I have offered to help finish what Dad could not. When it is published, I will not say, but it's not going to just disappear.

I know that there was a Bundle sold in December 2015 after Dad passed away by Marc Miller, that featured some of dad's loose writing for Traveller, as well as a foreword by him.

Respectfully,
Michael McKinney

Hello Michael McKinney,

Thank you for getting the site back-up and I have verified
that I have copies of all the stuff there. Okay, also have a
copy of the Timeline.

Is there any word from FFE when the Integrated Timeline will
be published?

Tom R

Greetings Everyone,

The Don McKinney Traveller page is back up temporarily. Located here: http://dmckinne.winterwar.org/dmckinne/trav.html

Please be advised it will be down permanently as of May 1st. If you have the files for the page, they are public consumption, so please feel free to share and host them where accordingly. I will be saving the documents, and if you, as an individual or group would like to host the documents themselves, please keep me informed. I will save those pages where you host them.

Respectfully,
Michael McKinney

Hello Michael McKinney,

From what I remember the only item no longer available on the site is the Traveller Integrated Timeline. Of course there is material, or may be not I could be confused, that are on linked sites that are no longer accessible due to the material no longer being on the web.

In my post the reason I discovered not being able to access your father's Traveller web page was from a link on Mongoose Publishing's Forum for MgT 1e errata. Unfortunately, I do not know what MgT errata was posted on the site.

Hopefully both godaddy and Marc Miller will allow Donald's material to be accessible somewhere for historical and archaeological reasons for the Traveller fans. I use the material to start my research on something I stumble upon going through one of the Traveller rule sets.

When we have access to the content, things will progress. Right now, Go Daddy is being, well bluntly, stupid.
Not for money, they just apparently don't know the link we want specifically to reactivate.
Don't worry, I think what will happen is after we have gotten okays on content, we'll find a way to make sure what is acceptable to be free in Domain, remains that way.

Like I said, I see myself as an archaeologist for this game, even though my father acted as Historian. I want to make sure what is rightfully public domain is available, even if it isn't on this specific site anymore. And what is lawfully Marc Miller's, I want to make sure he has possession and rights over.

Static memorial sites are no problem; I can root them off the home page
like I did with the J.A.K. memorial, or I can change that link to a
"Hall of Meta-Heros" page, and link the static memorials off that (and I
think that would probably be the better option).

Dynamic is a bit more of a problem; I'm not sure I'm competent to handle
such magic as PHP, and I'm for sure not confident enough in my coding
abilities to hack ecmascript. Not to mention that my usual hands-on-my-
time issues means that I couldn't really touch it for updating more than
once every two months or so.

Finally, I'm not sure I could _design_ memorial sites for anyone; my
tastes are my own, my design abilities are focussed to my tastes, and
those are more-or-less on the minimalist side and probably couldn't do
justice to the honoree - especially for someone like Andrew Boulton, who
was the artist for a not-insignificant fraction of Freelance Traveller's
early covers.

Given the caveats above... Freelance Traveller is definitely an option.
