Yes. I that's a fair point. I was thinking of convention games. Not that I've killed off anyone in my ongoing games except for the one occasion when the player asked for it, literally, because she wanted a new character. I think I've described that here previously. 

I'd be loath to kill off one character in a convention game simply because what's the player going to do for the rest of the session.

Well, Steve (Ellis) in his have a go at assassinating the Emperor game for example, makes it clear it is not acceptable for player on player killing until the last hour - for just that reason. 

When I've felt unwell, I've occasionally thought about asking the referee to kill me so I could retire - and so he could 'encourage' the others! 

I'd happily kill the lot of them to wrap up the game.

LOL! Maybe I should try it once. Just to see the looks! 

Regular group games are a different mater entirely.
