Yes, J6 is for transporting people and information, not cargo.

If something happens that moves markets in a big fashion; you can bet that megacorps and really wealthy individuals will have zero compunction about beating the X-boats out to take advantage of it ahead of everyone else.

who cares about spending megacredits in transport costs if it makes you gigacredits in profit?
