I stumbled across this 10 minute showcase of Syd Mead's artwork on youtube, I've always known he was partly responsible for the 'look' of Blade Runner (And it turns out Aliens as well...), what I've never realized until now was just how well his vision meshes with the retrofuturistic vision created by the Keith Brothers artwork for Traveller in the late 70s and early 1980s.
