Well, 7' would work okay for [5'7"] me. But the average human being has been getting steadily taller over time (most probably due to dependably better nutrition during adolescence). Assuming this trend applies in the 3I, 7' might feel a bit cramped to most folk.

Hmmmmm, "7' to low for most?", possible, but, IMO, not likely.

The hallway in my house is only 6'6" & I'm 6'1'. It would work OK for me on a 'ship, I would think.

So 7' should be OK up to about 6'7' or so. Feel somewhat cramped? Perhaps, but this is a starship & space is limited, no?
