Try 58 years ago for the Analog issue, I was in Junior High School (8th
Grade) when this issue came out.

I swear I bought LORD KALVAN OF OTHERWHEN at this time in the drug store
on the way home from school (1964).
But my somewhat battered and yellowed copy of the Ace edition (price 40
cents) is copyright 1965. Noted on the cover as "First Book Publication"

(We moved from Midlothian IL to Rolla MO in 1964 in the summer of 1964,
after school let out)
