Hi Lees,

Here are some ideas for feedback processes that I think children might
relate to:

1. Contagious diseases: Covid, flu, measles, scratching poison ivy
2. Personal relationships with family and friends (e.g. I listen or help you
today, you listen or help me tomorrow)
3. Conflicts that escalate from things that are said to physical fights and
violence

You are on to something important and I wish you the best of luck.

Dlear Listserv members,

I need your help. I am working with a local children's museum on creating a
cause and effect exhibit. I am striving to make sure they have circular
causality in the exhibit, not just linear causality. They asked me for a
list of children's books (picture books) that can be read to children that
show causality. I would love books that illustrate both reinforcing and
balancing feedback loops. What have you found to be good?

And if anyone has any ideas about how to illustrate feedback loops to
children in a physical, experimental, hands-on way that would be good for a
museum, I would love to hear them. The museum is one of the original
discovery type children's museums based on children learning through play.

Thank you for your help!
