AACR2 Revised Chapter 12 Program John Radencich 26 Aug 2002 18:25 UTC

At this summer's ALA annual program in Atlanta the Committee on
Cataloging: Description and Access and the Committee to Study
Serials Cataloging jointly sponsored an official ALCTS program,
"Introduction to AACR2 Revised Chapter 12." Four speakers gave
one hour presentations each on different aspects of the chapter
revisions: Jean Hirons spoke on "Concepts, Definitions and Serial
Descriptive Changes," Regina Reynolds on "Major/Minor
Differences," Rhonda Lawrence on "Integrating Resources:
Loose-leafs," and Adam Schiff on "Integrating Resources:
Web-based Resources."
The Power Point presentations the speakers gave at the program
are now available on the ALCTS Committee to Study Serials
Cataloging web site. You can go to the site and click on the
particular presentation that is of interest. On behalf of the
CC:DA and the CSSC we hope you find these presentations useful
and informative.
