Re: Numbering error in The Spectator Lynne Stevens 18 Sep 2003 16:18 UTC

I don't know if Spectator ever replied to Martin, but they have fixed their error.

Aug 16 is no.9132
Aug 23 is no.9133
Aug 30 is really no.9134, although it says no.9133
Sep 6 is really no.9135, although it says no.9134
Sep 13 is no.9136, as it should be.

Thanks, Martin, for calling this to their attention.

Subject: Numbering error in The Spectator

The 16 August issue is number 9132. The 23 August issue is number 9133.
Unfortunately, the 30 August issue also is number 9133. The 6 September
issue issue is 9134, which is consistent with the numbering of the 30
August issue but not with any other issues.

I have sent e-mail to The Spectator calling their attention to the problem.
