ALA pre-MidWinter symposium on managing e-resources Cindy Hepfer 03 Oct 2003 20:44 UTC

Please excuse cross-postings.

ALCTS (the Association for Collections and Technical Services), is pleased
to announce that it is once again holding a symposium on managing
electronic resources just prior to ALA's MidWinter conference. This year
the symposium will be held on January 9, 2004 in San Diego.

Information regarding the topics, speakers and schedule can be found on the
ALCTS website. You can reach the symposium's website by going to
http://www.ala.org/alcts/ and selecting Continuing Education from the menu
on the left-hand column. The page that you pull up will say "Coming
Events", and the link to the symposium on e-resource management, "Taming
the Electronic Tiger: Effective Management of Electronic Resources" is
listed immediately below. A link from the symposium website to the ALA
registration website is included.

We hope many of you will find the program exciting and plan to attend!
