The Office of Human Resources announces the following employment
opportunities:

Digital Library Project Manager
Oregon Institute of Technology invites applications for an individual to
manage an exciting new project:  Water in the Klamath Basin Digital
Library. The goal of this project is to create a web-based library of
information on the crucial topic of water use in the Upper Klamath Basin
region.  The project manager will coordinate the activities necessary to
meet this goal. This is a half-time, grant-funded position, with
generous benefits.  The grant period is 12 months, with a possible
extension of one year.

Required:  Related project management experience or demonstrated
equivalent; excellent written and oral communication skills; experience
working in a collaborative environment and coordinating tasks among
various working groups; facility with computer software and the ability to
learn new software programs quickly.

Preferred:  Experience with electronic resources and the collection
development of such resources; budget management; understanding of issues
involved in digital libraries; supervisory experience; Master's degree
in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution.

Essential functions:
-       Coordinating and overseeing the identification, retrieval and
processing of all materials gathered for the digital project
-       Managing the budget and submitting regular progress reports
-       Supervising technical and support staff
-       Coordinating work of various groups contributing to the project
