We tape incomplete volumes together, noting on the cover which issues are
missing. This makes it easy to insert the missing issues when they arrive. We do
make an effort to locate missing issues for titles that are not duplicated
electronically and for journals in the visual arts. (These are the titles which
we bind permanently.) Taping doesn't take much time and it's inexpensive.
