E-Access and Serials Librarian
Trinity University
San Antonio, TX

Trinity University seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking individual to
become its electronic access and serials librarian. The successful
candidate will join a team of energetic, creative librarians whose work
earned them the ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries award in 2007.

Reporting to the head of technical services, this position is
responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations in the
subscriptions and standing orders unit, including the acquisition and
cataloging of serial publications in all formats, provision of local and
off-campus access to these materials, and bindery and book repair. Four
classified staff members report to this position.

In addition, all librarians at Trinity serve as liaisons to at least one
academic department, providing collection development, information
literacy instruction, and communication from the library to the faculty
and students of that discipline.

This is an excellent opportunity for a librarian who seeks broad
responsibilities in a collaborative atmosphere. We offer an environment
that supports risk-taking and new ideas, and the chance to participate
actively in campus life.
