Please post on behalf of SLACK, Inc. the following press release:

To Our Valued Subscribers:
SLACK Incorporated is releasing revised 2008 IP/Electronic Access
Subscription Rates, effective August 16, 2007. The revised rates are now
available through your sub-agent and SLACK Incorporated. We do so in
response to feedback from our most valuable source, the librarian. We
appreciate the dialogue we have had with our customers and apologize for
any inconvenience you may have experienced along the way.
As electronic access continues to reshape the academic publishing world
we endeavor to keep pace and provide our publications to you in a
convenient and technological manner - and at a fair price. For 2008 new
developments necessitate the elimination of institutional access via
user name and password, a methodology traditionally meant for individual
customers.
Our revised 2008 pricing will offer institutions the opportunity to
receive our publications at a higher grade and quality of service
through IP/Electronic Access, while also enabling us to safeguard our
content.
We hope you will continue to offer guidance and assistance, as we all
reach for the same goal-to provide high-quality, educational content to
the medical community.
We appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,
SLACK Incorporated

John Bond
Vice-President
Health Care Books and Journals
