update on Blackwell-Wiley problem Sheffer, Rena A 10 Mar 2008 15:46 UTC

Hi,

Wiley has re-established our access to our problem Blackwell journals, I'm
relieved to say. However, it should not have taken this long to fix.

Thanks to those of you who responded offline.

Subject: Blackwell-Wiley problem

Hello,

Is anyone else having problems with some of their Blackwell-Wiley
subscriptions?  Most of our Blackwell subs are in their STM collection;
access to those journals is fine. We have a few subs that are outside the
collection and are individual subscriptions; we've lost access to those. I
have been trying to get one high demand journal turned on and am getting
nowhere. We were told we had to sign an Invoice Agreement Letter with Wiley
which we did on Monday. We still do not have access and the Wiley person who
can authorize that has not returned my telephone calls.

Yes, I have contacted our sales rep. He has sent urgent messages to the
powers that be for access.
