We have used Ebsco A to Z to grab the same content and have found that
sometimes the listing includes titles that has one free issue available
or that a range of access is open to present. Those two issues have
prompted us to request that Ebsco work with Highwire to remove those
titles that have one free or sample issue from their free journals
listing and to NOT include into our catalog any title that shows
coverage with no closing date. I don't recall a "free registration
required for access" title but wouldn't be surprised if it exists!

Good luck!

Hello, everyone. Our patrons like to use the Highwire Press Database
and the Highwire Press Free Journals for their research. We have the
Highwire Press Free Journals set up in our Serials Solutions A to Z
List
and 360 Linker. The main problem with this is that when patrons click

on the url to go to an article, it isn't always free. Some say it is
free with a registration or something. Does each individual title
require a registration. How do you all handle this problem?

Thank you.

Sincerely,
