A few years ago at a previous job, we sent a large number of weeded (but
recent) medical journals to a group building an AIDS research center in
Africa. I believe that particular project has been completed, but we located
the group via either the University of Buffalo donation list
(http://libweb.lib.buffalo.edu/dokuwiki/hslwiki/doku.php?id=book_donations)
or a similar list.

I believe the donations were mailed using M Bags.

ALA has some information about both domestic and international book donation
