There are a few old journals and magazines in LOCs American Memory project at http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/ndlpcoop/moahtml/snchome.html .  Most appear to be from the late 1800's and not the 1900's, but it is still a nice little collection.

Anyone aware of open source access to old journals: Ladies Home Journal, Harpers, Good Housekeeping, Better Homes and Gardens?? We are routinely hit by students requesting articles from 1900's for historical research - any hints greatly appreciated.
