New achievement for JournalTOCs, the free current awareness alerting service - 28,000 scholarly journals now included Inbox x Roddy MacLeod 17 May 2016 10:50 UTC

There are now more than 28,000 scholarly journals included in
JournalTOCs http://www.journaltocs.ac.uk/index.php the free current
awareness alerting service for researchers, students, librarians and
anyone looking for the latest scholarly articles. Included are over
10,000 Open Access and 11,000 hybrid titles, from 2,750 different
publishers.

JournalTOCs is a current awareness service where you can discover the
newest papers coming directly from the publishers as soon as they have
been published online.

The number of journals included goes up/down each day, according to
how many respond to the JournalTOCs harvester, and our rigorous
monitoring and editing procedures.

JournalTOCs was created by researchers from the ICBL at Heriot-Watt
University. It is a spin-out of the JournalTOCs-API Project, which was
funded by the JISC Rapid Innovation Grants.
