Brill.com replaces its Books and Journals platform Next Week! Sylvia Bonadio 21 Nov 2018 18:09 UTC

Greetings All:

Over the past weeks, our e-books and e-journals have been running on both booksandjournals.brillonline.com and on Brill.com in a parallel run. At the moment, book and journal article DOI’s still direct to the ‘old’ booksandjournals.brillonline.com.

On November 29, the parallel run period will end.

The old platform booksandjournals.brillonline.com will be taken offline. Brill will reregister all DOIs, to point to the URLs on the new platform. The DOIs themselves will never change.

Although all current URLs will be redirected to the new platform, it will be useful to make updates to URLs used in library catalogues, discovery tools, and hyperlinks , in order to enhance user experience. Please rest assured that we are working closely with our discovery partners ProQuest's Summon and Primo, EBSCO Discovery Service, OCLC WorldCat Local, Yewno, Scopus and ATLA to ensure they are prepared for any changes as a result of our new platform and will ensure that any implications of these are communicated to you.

Our updated EZProxy stanzas are found here:

Please do pass this information along to any and all relevant colleagues who may benefit from this information, or are directly involved in your e-book and e-journal holdings.

We are here to support you during this transition. If you have any questions or need support, please contact us at brillonline@brill.com.

With kind regards,
Sylvia Bonadio
