John: We purchased a Minolta 605 reader/printer last year.  It has a
universal carrier so you do not need to switch film to fiche.  It also
automatically chooses negative or positive.  It has worked fairly well.
Some toner problems but generally a user friendly machine.  Makes good
copies.  I would purchase another one.
