         ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN LIBRARIANS ANNUAL CONFERENCE

The 1994 annual conference of the Association of Christian
Librarians will be held June 14-17, 1994 at Greenville College,
Greenville, Illinois.

Theme:   "Developing Life-long Learners, the Librarian's Role"

Keynote Speaker:  Patricia Senn Breivik
                  Associate Vice-President for Information
Resources
                  Towson State University, Maryland

Workshop topics will cover a variety of library related issues and
concerns.
     Administration/Management:
        work environment, Americans with Disabilities Act,
volunteers, library buildings
      Reader Services:
         document delivery, collection development, CD-ROM and
online resources
      Technical Services:
         format integration, inventory, preservation
      Technology:
          Internet, library automation, videos

The conference begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 14 and ends with
a banquet on Friday evening, June 17.

Thursday afternoon tour choices include the following:
     Cahokia Mounds State Park (native American burial mounds and
museum)
     Wicks Organ Factory
     Vandalia State House (Illinois capitol 1819-1839)

Conference Registration Fee:
     ACL members      $50.00
     non-ACL members  $65.00

Conference Housing and Meals:
     Tuesday p.m. - Saturday a.m.
        Double (per person, 2 per room)      $135.00
        Single (one person per room)         $185.00
